Dr K.P.S.Rashmi Y. Perera is a medical practitioner who graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Medicine/ Bachelor of Surgery ( MBBS) from University of Sri Jayawardenapura, Sri Lanka. In 2017 she was awarded with the ‘Best Employability Skills Award’ from the University of Sri Jayawardenapura for her academic and extracurricular achievements.

Further she studied and completed her Australian Medical Council (AMC) certificate in 2022. She is also certified with Adult (ALS) and Peadiatric (APLS) Advanced Resuscitation Certificates (Emergency life support) both in Sri Lanka and Australia (by Australian Resuscitation Council) for her interest in Emergency Medicine.

Yamini worked in England prior to moving to Australia in 2013. She became a qualified Physician in the UK. Her background was in hospital based Acute and General Medicine. Since moving to Australia, she has has worked at Warragul hospital, Gippsland.She has then decided to make the move to General Practice. She enjoys holistic care working alongside patients and enabling them to achieve positive health outcomes.

She enjoys the variety the General Practice offers and looks forward to seeing families in the area.Outside work, she enjoys being a full time mom and spending time with her family, friends and caring for her numerous indoor plants.
